Bio

Ally Dunlop has a genuine passion for horses. She started riding locally in Ontario, Canada. Ally has been committed to Dressage training and riding since 2006, debuting Internationally in 2010 in the FEI pony division with Erin Meadows Oke Doke. Ally then competed successfully through the FEI Junior and FEI Young rider ranks with her long time partner and love Danero.

Currently Ally has been partnered with her up and coming horse Givarro. Ally and Givarro competed in the FEI 7 yr division and are currently competing at FEI Small Tour level. She values her horses well being and happiness above all else. Nothing makes her happier than spending time with her boys (possibly too much time).

Ally continues to strive to compete at top level, and represent Canada internationally. In addition to many top placings nationally in both Canada and USA, Ally has already competed in over 20 CDI International level competitions with wins at Palm Beach Dressage Derby, Dressage at Devon, Saugerties, Milton and Florida International Youth Championships.

Ally has had many roles as a working student, FEI groom, barn manager and sales rider; as well as running a boutique training and competition stab. She is also studying part time in Health Sciences. She has had extensive FEI Dressage training as well as participated in many clinics. Ally places an emphasis on biomechanically correct training, as well as the classical Dressage training pyramid.
